Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Patients with at least one prescription record of Airsupra or albuterol since January 2023
- Patients diagnosed with asthma within 12 months before the study start date, identified by specific healthcare claims
- Patients with at least one prescription record of albuterol in the 12 months before the study start date
- Patients aged 18 years or older on the study start date
- Patients with continuous insurance enrollment for at least 12 months before and after the study start date
You will not qualify if you...
- Patients diagnosed in the past 12 months with chronic respiratory or inflammatory diseases such as COPD, cystic fibrosis, pulmonary fibrosis, pulmonary arterial hypertension, bronchiectasis, respiratory tract cancer, hypereosinophilic syndrome, Churg-Strauss syndrome, eosinophilic pneumonia, Wegener's granulomatosis, allergic bronchopulmonary aspergillosis, obesity hypoventilation syndrome, hyperventilation syndrome, alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency, primary ciliary dyskinesia, vasculitis collagen vascular disease, systemic lupus erythematosus, scleroderma, rheumatoid arthritis, Sjogren's syndrome, psoriatic arthritis, or inflammatory bowel disease
- Patients using maintenance oral corticosteroids covering at least 50% of days supply in the 12 months before the study start date
- Airsupra patients who also have a short-acting beta-agonist prescription on the study start date
