Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Age between 18 and 30 years
- Able to read and write fluently in English
- Current undergraduate student at University of Colorado Boulder
- Elevated social anxiety symptoms with a Social Phobia Inventory (SPIN) score of 19 or higher
- Moderate to high communication anxiety with a PRCA-24 score of 59 or higher
- Willing to receive help for social anxiety or public speaking fears with a help seeking score of 3 or higher out of 5
- Able to voluntarily consent to participate
- Able to fully participate in the study including in-person group workshops and survey completion
You will not qualify if you...
- Currently experiencing moderately severe or severe depression with a PHQ-8 score greater than 14
- Moderate-high suicide risk indicated by the Columbia-Suicide Severity Rating Scale (CSSRS), recent suicide attempt, or current suicidal thoughts with past attempt
- Currently a student of the principal investigator or a client/current student of the doctoral student co-facilitators
