The study aims to analyse the impact of music therapy-based treatment on the comfort and well-being of patients with acquired brain injury (ABI). To achieve this objective, it is proposed to validate and implement a music therapy-based assessment and treatment protocol. Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Patient with acquired brain damage admitted to the hospital for at least one week
- Sudden brain injury causing physical, psychological, cognitive, behavioral, or sensory deficits reducing prior function and quality of life
- Clinically stable enough for rehabilitation
- Good functional status before injury (Barthel Index > 60)
- At least 18 years old
- Participant or relatives have signed informed consent
- Completed group music therapy session and pre- and post-test evaluations
You will not qualify if you...
- Inability to provide informed consent
- Barthel Index score below 60, indicating functional dependency
