Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Participants without history of kidney stones or family history of stone disease
- Participants approved and planned for bariatric surgery at University of Chicago Medicine Bariatric Surgery Center
You will not qualify if you...
- Patients with primary kidney diseases or impaired kidney function (eGFR less than 90)
- Patients with known bladder voiding problems
- Patients with vitamin D deficiency defined by levels below 25 ng/mL
