Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Hospitalized adults with acute kidney injury (AKI) defined by 2012 KDIGO criteria or hospitalized adults with acute illness without AKI (control group)
- Age 18 years or older at enrollment
- Personally signed informed consent
You will not qualify if you...
History of severe allergic reactions to study medication Currently pregnant or breastfeeding Recent participation in another clinical trial within the last 30 days Presence of uncontrolled medical conditions that could affect safety
