This study is being performed to find out if a new kind of breast imaging (called dedicated breast CT or BCT) can help doctors to see the small structures in breast tissue more clearly. The investigators also want to find out if using the BCT will provide a more accurate diagnosis of breast cancer.

Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Female, 40 years of age or older
- Undergoing or scheduled for breast screening or diagnostic imaging
- Scheduled for a biopsy to investigate a breast abnormality
You will not qualify if you...
- Male
- Female younger than 40 years old
- Unable to provide self-consent
- Prisoners
- Pregnant, suspected pregnant, or lactating women
- Physical limitations preventing resting prone on exam table (e.g., frozen shoulder, recent heart surgery, pacemaker)
- Unable to tolerate study procedures, frail, or unable to cooperate
- Weighing more than 440 lbs (200 kg)
- Prior radiation treatments to the chest area for malignant or nonmalignant conditions
- Previous participation in breast clinical trials involving additional radiation
- History of multiple diagnostic x-rays for monitoring diseases such as tuberculosis or severe scoliosis
