Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Patients 18 years or older diagnosed with acute coronary syndrome (ACS)
- Patients not candidates for primary percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI)
You will not qualify if you...
- Patients younger than 18 years old
- Patients with estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) less than 60 ml/kg/m2
- Patients with malignancies
- Patients with chronic heart failure classified as NYHA class greater than II
- Patients with chronic liver disease
- Patients with nephrotic syndrome
- Patients with acute cerebrovascular stroke
- Pregnant women
- Patients with recent infection
