Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Aged between 20 and 35 years
- BMI between 30 and 35 kg/m82
- Waist circumference of 90-100 cm for women, 105-110 cm for men
- Sedentary lifestyle (less than 600 MET-minutes per week)
- Referred by a physician with confirmation that exercise is safe
You will not qualify if you...
- BMI greater than 35
- Pregnancy
- Serious cardiovascular diseases such as uncontrolled hypertension, heart failure, coronary artery disease, or heart attack within the last 6 months
- Chronic respiratory diseases like uncontrolled or severe asthma or COPD limiting exercise tolerance
- Neurological disorders limiting exercise ability, such as Parkinson's disease, stroke, or multiple sclerosis
- Chronic musculoskeletal problems, especially knee or hip osteoarthritis, increasing risk of injury during exercise
- Uncontrolled metabolic or endocrine disorders such as diabetes or thyroid problems
- Acute infections, fever, or recent surgery
- Any health condition preventing safe participation in exercise
