- Males or females over the age of 18
- Sepsis diagnosed within 48 hours meeting sepsis-3 criteria
- Able to understand the study's purpose and risks
- Patient or proxy provides written informed consent before any assessment
You will not qualify if you...
- Pregnancy, lactation, or perinatal period
- Breast carcinoma
- HIV seropositive or syphilis seropositive
- Any clinical condition affecting participation or study results
- Participation in another intervention trial
- Unwillingness or inability to follow the study protocol as judged by investigators
