Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Confirmed Huntington Disease mutation carriers or established family history with typical symptoms like chorea
- Early (stages 1 and 2) or moderate (stage 3) stages of Huntington Disease
- Mild to moderate behavioral symptoms with severity scores between 1 and 3 and no symptoms scoring 4
- Stable medication doses for at least one month
- Have a caregiver willing to be present during tDCS sessions and answer questionnaires
You will not qualify if you...
- Unstable medical conditions
- History of epilepsy
- Presence of metallic objects in the brain
- Clinical diagnosis of major cognitive disorder or dementia
- Risk of suicidal behavior or ideation of type 4 or 5 within 3 months prior to screening
- Participation in another clinical trial simultaneously
- Incapable of giving consent as determined by medical history or study staff
- Caregiver has motor or cognitive symptoms related to Alzheimer's or Huntington Disease that impair their ability to assist
