Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Age 16 to 60 years
- Diagnosed with papillary thyroid carcinoma
- Scheduled for thyroid thermal ablation
- Have 3 or fewer target lesions
- Largest lesion diameter 2 cm or smaller
- Clinical stage T1N0M0 by imaging
- Awake and able to cooperate under local anesthesia
- Own a smartphone and can use WeChat
You will not qualify if you...
- Serious medical comorbidities or cognitive impairment preventing participation
- Prior thyroid surgery or thermal ablation
- Unwilling or unable to join the WeChat group or complete postoperative follow-up

Duration - 12 weeks
Participants receive thyroid thermal ablation with supportive nursing care. Those in the experimental group receive additional structured, humanistic continuing care via WeChat including pre-procedure coaching, intra-procedure support, and post-procedure education and psychosocial support.
1 pre-procedure session, intra-procedure support on the day of ablation, and weekly WeChat check-ins with on-demand messaging
