Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Breastfeeding mother living or residing in Osijek with nipple skin damage (Nipple Trauma Score 1 to 5)
- Newborn from a singleton pregnancy
- Newborn gestational age between 37 and 42 weeks
- Newborn birth weight between 2,500 and 4,500 grams
You will not qualify if you...
- Mothers who do not breastfeed
- Mothers not living or residing in Osijek
- Mothers without nipple skin damage
- Mothers using other nipple healing preparations (shells, pads)
- Newborns with visible anomalies affecting breastfeeding
- Newborns admitted to the neonatal unit
