Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Aged 18 to 49 years old
- Speak English
- Own a cell phone not shared with anyone else
- Have missed at least one scheduled HIV care visit or have not been virally suppressed in the past 24 months
- Reside in Chicago, Illinois or Alabama
- Index agrees to engage a Support Confidant
- Support Confidants must be 18 years or older
- Support Confidants must speak English
- Support Confidants must own a cell phone not shared with others
- Support Confidants must not be a romantic or sexual partner of the Index participant
You will not qualify if you...
- Participants not meeting all inclusion criteria
- Romantic or sexual partners of the Index participant
- Presence of relationship strain or abuse in the Index-Support Confidant relationship
