- Age 18 years or older
- Admitted to an Intensive Care Unit
- Need for tracheal intubation during the ICU stay
- Intubation planned with a videolaryngoscope device
You will not qualify if you...
- Pregnancy or lactation
- Emergency tracheal intubation not allowing randomization
- Need for tracheal intubation using devices other than videolaryngoscope
- Intubation performed outside the Intensive Care Unit
