This research aims to understand how pulmonary medicine programs across the United States changed their procedural practices during the COVID-19 pandemic. The study focuses on how these programs adapted their procedures, techniques, ambulatory operations, and provider staffing in response to the epidemic. Insights from this study may help improve pulmonary programs and guide future pandemic responses. Participants are asked to complete a survey that takes about 5 to 10 minutes. The survey collects information on changes made in pulmonary procedural practices, provider staffing, ambulatory operations, and techniques due to COVID-19. This observational study does not involve treatments but gathers valuable data from pulmonary specialists. During the study, participants complete the survey once. Researchers evaluate how pulmonary medicine programs adapted throughout the pandemic, focusing on procedural practice changes over an average of one year. The studys findings aim to highlight effective strategies and areas needing further research to better support pulmonary care during health crises.
