Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Adults older than 18 years
- Healthy volunteers who provide documented informed consent
- Agreement to complete PEG bowel preparation
- Willingness to return collected stool samples
You will not qualify if you...
- Presence of ileus
- Significant gastric retention
- Suspected or confirmed mechanical bowel obstruction
- Having an inflammatory or infectious gastrointestinal condition
- Neurologic or cognitive impairment preventing safe swallowing
- Cancer diagnosis within the past year requiring ongoing treatment
- Antibiotic use within 1 month before participation
- History of cardiac disease
- History of active kidney dysfunction
- Any absolute contraindication to PEG bowel preparation per manufacturer guidelines
