Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Self-reported midlife Korean-American women
- Aged 40 to 60 years
- Parents and grandparents are of Korean descent
- Able to read and write English or Korean
- Currently reside in the United States
- Sedentary without disabilities preventing physical activity
- Access to computers or mobile devices with internet
- Experienced depressive symptoms in the past two weeks (Patient Health Questionnaire score 1 to 10)
You will not qualify if you...
- Major signs or symptoms suggestive of pulmonary or cardiovascular disease
- History of myocardial infarction, stroke, or Type I diabetes mellitus
- Blood pressure higher than 160/100 mm Hg
- Use of beta-blockers, diltiazem, or verapamil
