You may qualify if you...

  • Candidates for bariatric surgery or cholecystectomy
  • Age between 18 and 70 years
  • Male or female
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Previous bariatric surgery
  • Type 1 diabetes
  • Antibiotic treatment within 3 months before the study
  • Probiotic treatment within 3 months before the study
  • Chronic gastrointestinal disease, cancer, psychiatric disorder, or endocrine disorders
  • Any abnormal findings during endoscopy
  • Participants who experience post-operation complications
