You may qualify if you...
- Candidates for bariatric surgery or cholecystectomy
- Age between 18 and 70 years
- Male or female
You will not qualify if you...
- Previous bariatric surgery
- Type 1 diabetes
- Antibiotic treatment within 3 months before the study
- Probiotic treatment within 3 months before the study
- Chronic gastrointestinal disease, cancer, psychiatric disorder, or endocrine disorders
- Any abnormal findings during endoscopy
- Participants who experience post-operation complications
