Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Age between 50 and 80 years
- Smoked within the past 15 years
- Smoked at least 20 pack years
- Eligible for lung cancer screening
You will not qualify if you...
- Non-English or non-Spanish speaking
- Decompensated psychiatric illness (suicidal, homicidal, psychosis) confirmed by physicians at enrollment
- Intoxicated with alcohol or drugs
- Unable to provide reliable follow-up contact information (cell phone)
- Presenting with a life-threatening condition in the emergency department
- Received chest CT scan in past 12 months
- Already enrolled in lung cancer screening
- Enrolled in hospice care
