Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Individuals diagnosed with stroke admitted to inpatient rehabilitation or individuals in the community who had a stroke (chronic)
- Age 18 or older
- Able and willing to give written consent and comply with study procedures
- Healthy individuals without significant health problems
- Age 18 or older
- Able and willing to give written consent and comply with study procedures
You will not qualify if you...
- Neurological degenerative diseases as co-morbidities (e.g., multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease)
- Pregnant or nursing
- Skin allergies, irritation, or open wounds
- Using a powered implanted cardiac device like a pacemaker, defibrillator, or LVAD
- Healthy controls with history of cerebrovascular accidents or neurological degenerative diseases
