Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Male aged 18 years or older
  • Provided written informed consent before any study procedures
  • ECOG performance status of 0 to 2
  • Biopsy-proven prostate adenocarcinoma without neuro-endocrine differentiation within 18 months before registration unless on active surveillance without need for re-biopsy
  • Gleason score 4+3 or lower
  • Clinical or MRI stage T1c to T3a, N0 to NX, M0 to MX
  • PSA level 30 ng/ml or less within 60 days before registration and before starting hormone therapy (15 ng/ml or less if on 5-alpha reductase inhibitors)
  • Classified as low risk, intermediate risk, or eligible high risk prostate cancer based on defined clinical and pathology criteria
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • History of another cancer within the last 2 years except certain skin cancers or if expected to significantly reduce 5-year survival
  • Previous pelvic radiotherapy
  • Prior active prostate cancer treatment other than hormone therapy
  • Life expectancy less than 5 years
  • Bilateral hip prostheses or implants causing major CT scan interference
  • Medical conditions making radiotherapy unsafe, such as inflammatory bowel disease or serious urinary symptoms
  • Use of warfarin or bleeding disorders making certain procedures unsafe
  • Participation in another prostate cancer treatment trial, excluding quality of life or exercise studies
