Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Preoperative sonographic and/or MRI findings suggestive of bowel deep infiltrating endometriosis affecting areas such as uterosacral ligaments, posterior vaginal wall, parametrium, retrocervical area, rectovaginal septum, rectum, and/or sigmoid colon.
- Scheduled for surgical treatment by laparoscopy or robot-assisted laparoscopy.
- Planned postoperative follow-up for at least 12 months.
- Provided written informed consent before surgery.
You will not qualify if you...
- Surgery planned for diagnostic purposes only.
- Pregnant at the time of enrollment.
- Poor understanding of Spanish or English.
