Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Agree to participate in the study
- Aged between 32 and 42 years
- Have had at least one previous embryo implantation failure
- History of low embryo quality at day 3 or day 5 according to Veeck's and Gardner's criteria
- No major uterine or ovarian abnormalities
- Body mass index (BMI) between 18 and 25 kg/m2
You will not qualify if you...
- Ovarian endometriosis with Chocolate cysts (AFS type 3 and 4)
- Taken supplements such as coenzyme Q10, vitamin E, carnitine, niacin, nicotinamide, or other vitamin B3-related supplements within the last month
- Any medical contraindications for oocyte retrieval or related procedures
- Husband has severe sperm abnormalities
- Husband has fewer than 5 million motile sperm per milliliter
- Uterine structural anomalies
- Polycystic ovaries
- Premature ovarian failure
- Require regular medication for chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, gout, or hyperuricemia
- Require medication for mental illnesses such as epilepsy or depression
- Have infectious diseases such as hepatitis B, active tuberculosis, or AIDS
- Cancer patient or received chemotherapy/radiotherapy within the past 3 years
