Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Age 20 years or older
- Undergoing colonoscopy for any clinical reason
- Have a 10-20 mm pedunculated colorectal polyp suitable for cold snare polypectomy
You will not qualify if you...
- Age younger than 20 years
- Medical reasons preventing colonoscopy or polyp removal, such as recent heart attack, stroke, severe unstable heart disease, acute peritonitis, fulminant colitis, perforation, or toxic megacolon
- Poor bowel preparation that prevents complete colonoscopy or safe polyp removal
