Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Clinical diagnosis of stroke
  • Age between 30 and 55 years
  • Hemiplegic shoulder pain with a Visual Analog Scale score of 3 or higher and/or limited joint movement
  • At least 6 months post-stroke (chronic phase)
  • Active shoulder range of motion of at least 90 degrees in flexion and abduction
  • Stable vital signs
  • Voluntary participation with understanding of study purpose and signed informed consent form
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Serious orthopedic problems such as shoulder fractures, dislocations, or rotator cuff tears
  • Skin lesions or circulatory disorders preventing flossband application
  • Spasticity in the affected arm with Modified Ashworth Scale of 1 or higher
  • Allergy to latex in the flossband material
  • Acute inflammatory conditions or acute pain
