Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Participants must be between 20 and 70 years old.
- Diagnosed with schizophrenia spectrum disorders including schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, or schizophreniform disorder according to DSM-5 and MINI 7.0 (Chinese version).
- At admission, participants should be clinically stable, able to understand the study, and capable of providing written informed consent, or consent obtained from a legal guardian or family member with later confirmation by the patient.
You will not qualify if you...
- Currently receiving continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) therapy for obstructive sleep apnea.
- Presence of other serious central nervous system disorders such as major depressive disorder or bipolar disorder.
- Severe medical illnesses including malignant tumors, end-stage cardiopulmonary disease, neuromuscular disorders severely affecting motor or respiratory function, uncontrolled epileptic seizures, or conditions preventing supine sleep.
- Patients considered unsuitable for participation due to clinical conditions like agitation, non-cooperation, or safety concerns.
