Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Newborns 28 days old or younger or up to 44 weeks corrected age hospitalized in neonatal medicine with isolated rectal bleeding
- Affiliated with social security
- Presenting isolated rectal bleeding without vomiting, tense or distended abdomen, apathy, apnea, bradycardia, or other severe signs
- Biological mother provides non-objection consent
You will not qualify if you...
- Newborns with ulcerative enterocolitis, congenital digestive malformations, or rectal bleeding following digestive surgery
- Biological mother opposes participation in the study
