ISRT 20 Gy for Indolent Localized Gastrointestinal (GI)-Lymphoma
Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Primary indolent gastric or duodenal lymphoma
- Diagnosis of marginal zone lymphoma (MZL) or follicular lymphoma (FL)
- Clinical stage I or II according to Ann Arbor classification
- Helicobacter pylori negative or lymphoma resistant to antibiotics
- IPI or FLIPI score between 0 and 4 (low to high risk)
- Any size of tumor or affected lymph nodes
- Male or female aged 18 years or older
- Performance status ECOG 0 to 3
- Written informed consent provided by the patient
You will not qualify if you...
- Previous radiation treatment for gastrointestinal lymphoma
- Clinical stage III or IV according to Ann Arbor classification
- Unable to understand informed consent or unwilling to participate
- Severe comorbidities or organ failure preventing radiation therapy (liver cirrhosis Child-Pugh C, COPD GOLD 4, heart failure NYHA IV, dialysis-dependent renal failure, uncontrolled epilepsy)
- Known HIV positive
- Acute hepatitis B or C infection
- Chronic inflammatory bowel disease
- Prior malignant disease except for basal cell carcinoma or non-metastasized solid tumor in remission for over 3 years
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding
- Active substance abuse or severely compromised compliance
