Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Healthy men and women
- Age between 18 and 60 years
- Speak and understand English
You will not qualify if you...
- Pregnancy or lactation
- Drug addiction including cannabis, opioids, or other addictive drugs
- History of neurological, immunological, musculoskeletal, cardiac, or mental illnesses that may affect results
- Inability to cooperate with the study
- Current use of medications like antihistamines, antipsychotics, pain killers, or steroids
- Skin diseases such as atopic dermatitis, pruritus nodularis, eczema, or psoriasis
- Presence of moles, scars, or tattoos in the treatment or test area
- Consumption of alcohol or painkillers 24 hours before and during study days
- Acute or chronic pain
- Participation in other clinical trials within one week before entry (four weeks for pharmaceutical trials)
