Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Clinical diagnosis of squamous carcinoma of the cervix, adenocarcinoma, or squamous adenocarcinoma at stage IB1, IB2, or IIA1
- Age 21 years or older and 70 years or younger
- Eligible for surgery type B or C according to Q-M surgical staging
- Normal liver and kidney function and blood count within specified ranges (Hemoglobin > 60g/L, Platelets > 70×10^9/L, Leukocytes > 3×10^9/L, Creatinine < 50mg/dL, Transaminase levels no more than 3 times the normal maximum)
- No history of other cancers
- Not pregnant
- Karnofsky performance score 60 or higher
- Voluntarily consented and willing to comply with follow-up
- No psychiatric or serious immune system disorders such as lupus erythematosus, myasthenia gravis, or HIV infection
You will not qualify if you...
- Unable to undergo surgery due to contraindications
- Previous pelvic or abdominal radiotherapy or neoadjuvant chemotherapy for cervical cancer
- Recurrent cervical cancer
- Imaging (CT, MRI, or PET-CT) suggesting suspicious pelvic lymph node metastasis larger than 2cm
