Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Patients with a definite preoperative diagnosis of common bile duct stones
  • Common bile duct diameter of 1 cm or greater
  • Patients must be fit for surgery
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Patients with liver cirrhosis
  • Common bile duct diameter less than 1 cm
  • Presence of malignancy in the biliary tract or common bile duct stricture
  • Patients unfit for surgery
