Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Established diagnosis of definite or probable Alzheimer's Disease or a related neurodegenerative disorder such as Frontotemporal Dementia or Lewy Body Dementia (including sporadic cases)
  • Having a living sibling with probable or possible Alzheimer's Disease
  • Having a third living relative affected with Alzheimer's Disease (onset age 50 or older) or unaffected (60 or older)
  • Participants in the proband's generation with an identified companion serving as an informant
  • Participants who can consent or have a surrogate/proxy to provide consent
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Failure to identify an appropriate informant
  • Uncertainty of the clinical diagnosis of Alzheimer's Disease or related disorder
  • Discovery of another diagnosis that could explain the clinical symptoms
  • Unwillingness to participate
  • Failure to identify a living sibling with Alzheimer's Disease or related disorder (except sporadic Frontotemporal Dementia and Lewy Body Dementia cases)
  • Participants lacking capacity to consent without a surrogate, proxy, or next of kin to provide consent
