Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Age range 18-25 years.
  • Patients with crowding or protrusion requiring at least bilateral maxillary first premolar extraction followed by symmetrical canine retraction.
  • Full set of permanent teeth (third molars not considered).
  • Good oral hygiene.
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Previous orthodontic treatment.
  • Taking medications or having systemic conditions affecting tooth movement.
  • Active gum disease or untreated cavities.
  • Congenital orofacial deformities.
  • Multiple missed appointments.
  • Poor oral hygiene.
  • Frequent broken orthodontic appliances interfering with treatment.
