Researchers are studying how a combined movement and storytelling intervention CMSI affects fundamental motor skills, language development, and physical activity levels in children aged 3 to 6 years. This randomized controlled trial includes 144 children from 12 class groups divided into experimental and control groups across three educational levels. The study aims to see if CMSI can improve these developmental areas and potentially enhance preschool curricula. The intervention involves early childhood educators leading 40-minute CMSI sessions three times a week for 12 weeks, using a weekly motor story to guide activities that combine movement and verbal interaction. The control groups continue their regular school activities without receiving CMSI. The study is conducted in classrooms and uses a double-blind, randomized design to reduce bias. Participants will undergo assessments before and after the 12-week intervention to measure changes in motor skills, language abilities, and physical activity. Additional measurements include body weight, height, body mass index, and skinfold thickness. Attendance is tracked, and safety is monitored throughout. The entire study period includes baseline testing, the intervention phase, and follow-up assessments to evaluate outcomes.
