Researchers are evaluating two medicines, tadalafil and solifenacin, to determine which is more effective for treating women with overactive bladder (OAB). OAB is a condition that causes sudden urges to urinate, frequent bathroom visits, and sometimes leakage. This Phase 4 study focuses on women aged 18 to 75 years who have experienced OAB symptoms for at least three months. The main goal is to see which medicine reduces OAB symptoms more, particularly urgency and frequent urination, while also assessing quality of life, bladder function, and side effects. Participants will be randomly assigned to one of two groups. One group will take tadalafil 5 mg orally once daily for 12 weeks. The other group will take solifenacin 5 mg orally once daily for the same duration. Both treatments aim to manage OAB symptoms. During the study, participants will keep a bladder diary and attend several visits for simple urine flow and bladder tests. Throughout the 12-week study, women will complete short questionnaires and undergo bladder and urine flow assessments at multiple visits. Researchers will monitor symptom changes using the Overactive Bladder Symptom Score and evaluate treatment effects on participants' quality of life. Safety and side effects will also be carefully tracked to understand how each medicine affects bladder function and overall well-being.
