Researchers are evaluating the Ephe9me9ride 3D tool, a new external aid designed to help improve temporal orientation in individuals with Alzheimers disease or related dementias in mild to moderate stages. Temporal orientation problems, such as difficulty identifying the day or month, are common in these patients and often worsen in hospital settings where environmental cues are lost. This study aims to assess the tools effectiveness and feasibility in real-life hospital conditions. The study involves a series of assessments over 30 days, including cognitive function tests MMSE and daily evaluations of patients knowledge of time with and without the Ephe9me9ride 3D tool. Patients will be observed during alternating periods using the tool and not using it to compare effects. Feedback will be collected from patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals about the tools usefulness, practicality, and appeal. The study will also explore patients willingness to continue using the tool after hospital discharge. Participants will undergo initial and follow-up cognitive tests and daily assessments of temporal orientation across several time blocks, with and without the external aid. Questionnaires at the end of the study will gather opinions from patients, families, and staff. Data collected will be analyzed statistically to track changes over time and evaluate the impact of the tool. The total participation period is 30 days, and 20 patients will be included to support the studys findings.
