Researchers are evaluating the effect of a dermatology-focused spa therapy on the quality of life for adults with psoriasis. This prospective, monocentric cohort study measures patient outcomes before and after a 3-week spa treatment, with follow-up at 4.5 months. The study aims to understand how thermal treatments can impact patients suffering from this skin condition who have stable treatment over the past 6 months and significant quality of life impairment. Participants receive a 3-week spa therapy in Barèges that includes various thermal treatments such as filiform showers, simple baths, aerated baths, general showers, compresses, nebulization inhalation, multiple local mud applications, and a drinking cure. These treatments are tailored for dermatological indications and delivered under medical supervision. The treatment focuses on moderate impact thermal care to assess its benefits on psoriasis symptoms and overall well-being. During the study, participants are monitored for changes in their quality of life using repeated measurements over 4.5 months. Researchers collect data on skin condition, treatment tolerance, and patient-reported outcomes. The study includes follow-up visits and assessments to ensure safety and track long-term effects. Participation requires availability for the full 18-day spa treatment and continued follow-up over 9 months, with thorough informed consent and adherence to inclusion criteria.
