Researchers are evaluating the stability of various diagnostic biomarkers found in blood and other body fluids, including long non-coding RNAs, small non-coding RNAs, messenger RNAs, proteins, lipids, and metabolites. These biomarkers are measured using Firalis in-vitro diagnostic (IVD) test candidates. The study also examines how factors like age, gender, and nutrition affect the expression levels of these biomarkers in healthy volunteers aged 18 to 85 years. Participants undergo biomarker-based IVD tests that assess the expression of these molecules before and after breakfast intake, specifically measuring lncRNA biomarker expression at fasting and one hour after eating. The study collects biological samples to validate the analytical stability of these biomarkers and to investigate the influence of different personal and nutritional factors on their levels. During the study, volunteers provide biological samples and information while researchers monitor biomarker changes at specified times. The primary outcome measures include biomarker expression levels before breakfast and one hour after breakfast. Participants must comply with study procedures, and their health status and eligibility are carefully assessed to ensure accurate and reliable results. The total study participation involves sample collection and data analysis related to the stability and expression of the diagnostic biomarkers.
