This research aims to evaluate whether a web-based educational program, called the InTroDuce-Programme, can improve pregnant womens knowledge about Influenza and Tdap vaccinations and increase their intention to get vaccinated in the future. The study focuses on understanding how demographic factors, attitudes, and barriers affect vaccination decisions among pregnant mothers. It is a randomized controlled trial conducted in primary care clinics to compare the educational program with standard antenatal care. Participants in the study will either receive the InTroDuce-Programme, which is a comprehensive web-based module covering the importance, safety, and effectiveness of influenza and Tdap vaccines along with addressing common concerns, or they will receive standard antenatal care without the additional educational module. The clinics are randomly assigned to either the intervention or control group to reduce contamination. The study lasts 12 months with recruitment over 6 months and includes a follow-up one month after the intervention. During the study, participants will complete questionnaires before and after the intervention to assess changes in vaccination knowledge and future vaccination intentions. The main outcomes measured are knowledge improvement and vaccination uptake intentions one month post-intervention, along with barriers to vaccination. The study involves data collection through validated questionnaires and statistical analysis to understand the effectiveness of the educational program.
