Parkinson's disease patients often experience postural disorders, which are particularly common in Martinique and frequently resistant to standard dopamine-based treatments. This research evaluates how strengthening back muscles using an isokinetic device might improve posture in these patients. The study focuses on patients with Parkinson's disease or atypical parkinsonian syndrome who have measurable postural deformities and are on stable medication. The study compares two types of physiotherapy rehabilitation over seven weeks: a conventional rehabilitation program and a program that includes isokinetic reeducation. The isokinetic device offers muscle training by allowing maximum muscle contraction at a constant speed with resistance adjusted to the patient's force, potentially leading to greater improvement in spinal muscle strength and posture than conventional methods. Participants will undergo assessments of their posture before and after the eight-week rehabilitation period. The main outcome measured is patient posture after the reeducation. Other evaluations include posture-related measurements and clinical scales to monitor progress. The study also ensures patients are stable on their medications and monitors for safety throughout the participation period.
