Researchers are conducting a follow-up study of the TEMPO randomized clinical trial, which originally investigated infant formula and human breast milk consumption during the first year of life. This study aims to learn if children who participated in TEMPO develop allergies or infections during childhood and whether their early feeding patterns influence these health outcomes. The study focuses on children between 3 and 10 years of age and collects data through parent reports. Participants will complete digital questionnaires every three months, which they can access on a smartphone, tablet, or computer. These self-administered questionnaires gather information about the child's feeding history, allergic symptoms, infections, medication use, and healthcare visits. The study is conducted virtually and is observational, meaning it collects information without changing the children's care or treatment. Parents will report on their child's allergic symptoms, infections, use of medications or medical devices, as well as hospitalizations and emergency room visits over the study period. The researchers will use this information to understand the relationship between infant feeding and childhood health outcomes. Participation requires internet access and is expected to span from age 3 to 10 years, allowing long-term monitoring of health through parent-reported data.
