Researchers are evaluating OROXID ae oral solution to support healing and reduce complications after oral surgery, specifically tooth extraction. The study focuses on how high bacterial load and mechanical stress in the mouth affect wound healing and explores whether using this medical device mouthwash can improve recovery. OROXID ae is designed to cleanse the oral tissues, oxygenate the area, and inhibit bacterial growth through mechanical action and its acidic pH. Participants will either use OROXID ae forte oral solution two to three times daily for 14 days alongside standard care or receive standard care alone, which involves proper tooth brushing without any antibacterial mouthwash. The study compares these approaches to assess the impact of OROXID ae on oral wound healing after surgery. During the study, participants will be monitored for wound healing progress using the Modified Landry Index over 7 days. Researchers will assess oral tissue recovery, inflammation, and side effects post-surgery. Participants will follow oral hygiene instructions and provide informed consent, with the total observation period focusing on the two weeks following tooth extraction or oral surgery.
