Actively Recruiting

This research aims to gather information from people with Progressive Familial Intrahepatic Cholestasis (PFIC), a rare liver disease causing poor liver function, itching, and yellow skin. The study focuses on people in South Korea using odevixibat, a medicine approved to help manage PFIC symptoms. Odevixibat received approval for use in babies older than 3 to 6 months by regulatory agencies including the European Medicines Agency, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, and South Korea's Ministry of Food and Drug Safety. Participants in this study will be those diagnosed with PFIC who are taking odevixibat as part of their treatment. The study will observe the long-term effectiveness and safety of odevixibat during regular daily use. There are no specific procedures or interventions described beyond collecting information on participants who are already prescribed this medicine. Throughout the study, data will be collected on any adverse events experienced by participants from the time they consent through approximately seven years of follow-up. Researchers will monitor the safety and outcomes of odevixibat treatment over this extended period. Participants may remain in the study even if they temporarily stop their odevixibat treatment.
