Researchers are evaluating cognitive performance in the oldest-old population, those aged 80 years and above, as current neuropsychological tests are not well adapted for this age group. This observational study aims to establish normal limits for 18 neuropsychological tests to improve diagnostic evaluations for this population. The research is sponsored by Consorci Sanitari de lAlt Peneds i Garraf and involves subjects without cognitive-affecting pathologies. The study will include 120 non-institutionalized participants aged 80 or older from the Comarca del Garraf area, divided into four age groups 80-84, 85-89, 90-94, and 95 or more. Participants will undergo 18 neuropsychological tests typically used in memory clinics. Test results will be adjusted for age and education level using linear regression, and normal limits will be defined by percentiles. Participants will be evaluated at a Memory Clinic Unit after enrollment, where cognitive performance will be assessed in about 60 minutes. Researchers will collect data through these tests to define normal cognitive function ranges for this age group. The study excludes individuals with certain mental illnesses, central nervous system diseases, severe sensory deficits, or dementia. Participation involves attending scheduled assessments and cooperating with test procedures until study completion in March 2026.

This research aims to evaluate whether taking the Ovosicare4 Fertility food supplement helps increase the chance of becoming pregnant in women aged 32 to 38 years who have been trying to conceive for at least six months before starting supplementation. The study is observational and focuses on real-world use of this supplement containing a combination of MYODCI, antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals. Participants will follow a supplementation plan prescribed as part of standard clinical practice. The study does not require additional tests or extraordinary visits beyond those normally done in routine care. The observation period for each participant will last up to 18 months, but it may end sooner if pregnancy occurs. During the study, there will be a total of three visits. Women in the study will undergo routine assessments including blood tests for biochemical and hormonal panels, karyotype analysis, and ultrasound exams to monitor anatomy and follicle count. Researchers will track spontaneous pregnancy rates, time until pregnancy, safety, tolerability, satisfaction, and adherence to supplementation. Live birth rates will also be recorded after pregnancy confirmation. The study provides follow-up through 9 months after enrollment or until pregnancy.
