Researchers are studying healthy men and women aged 18 to 55 to compare blood levels and side effects of different subcutaneous formulations of AZD6234. This phase 1 trial aims to assess how the body absorbs and processes these different drug versions, helping to understand their relative bioavailability. Participants will receive four single doses of AZD6234 in separate study periods, each given as an injection under the skin of the abdomen without food. The four formulations tested include Formulation 1, Formulation 2 at low and high concentrations, and Formulation 3. The study uses a randomized crossover design where each volunteer receives all formulations during different periods, staying in the clinic for 6 nights on four separate occasions. During the study, volunteers will have blood and urine samples collected to measure drug levels and breakdown products, safety labs, and immune response effects. They will attend up to 10 outpatient visits over approximately 19 weeks. Researchers will closely monitor vital signs, ECGs, and adverse events throughout. The main outcomes measured are drug concentration levels in plasma over time after dosing.
