Researchers are evaluating the safety and tolerability of atacicept in adults and adolescents aged 10 years and older who have multiple autoimmune glomerular diseases, including IgA Nephropathy, Primary Membranous Nephropathy, Minimal Change Disease, and Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis. The study aims to measure atacicept's effect in reducing proteinuria and preserving kidney function in these conditions. This is a Phase 2 clinical trial focused on these specific kidney diseases with autoimmune causes. Participants will receive weekly subcutaneous injections of atacicept at a dose of 150 mg using a pre-filled syringe. The study includes several cohorts based on disease type and specific eligibility criteria, such as biopsy confirmation and antibody levels. Treatment will be administered regularly during the study period to assess safety and efficacy across these different patient groups. Throughout the study, participants will be monitored for adverse events and undergo routine clinical and laboratory tests from baseline until the end of the study, which spans 78 weeks (52 weeks plus 26 weeks). Researchers will specifically measure the percent reduction in urine protein to creatinine ratio at baseline and at Week 36 to evaluate treatment impact. Safety and kidney function will be closely observed through ongoing tests and assessments during the entire study period.
