Researchers are evaluating the VicorderCS, a new device developed by 80 Beats Medical to non-invasively measure blood pressure and assess cardiovascular health risks. This device is designed to be faster, easier to use, more portable, and offers enhanced connectivity compared to earlier technology. The study aims to validate the VicorderCS's ability to accurately capture blood pressure readings using the common oscillometric cuff method, comparing its measurements to those taken by human observers using a traditional auscultatory sphygmomanometer as required by ISO standards.
