Researchers are studying how daily nutritional supplements tailored to specific urine biomarkers affect quality of life and urinary biomarker levels in adults with chronic pain lasting at least three months. This Phase 2 study aims to understand whether identifying individual deficiencies through pain-specific urine biomarkers can help create personalized treatment plans. The study focuses on three types of urinary biomarkers related to oxidative stress, inflammation, and nerve health using targeted ingredients. Participants receive one of three dietary supplement formulas based on their urinary biomarker test results: an Inflammation Support Formula containing turmeric extract, black pepper, ashwagandha, and olive leaf extract; a Nerve Health Formula with vitamins B12 and B6, folate, and trimethyl glycine; or a Redox Support Formula including antioxidants and minerals like N-acetyl-L-cysteine, CoQ10, acetyl-L-carnitine, and selenium. These supplements are taken daily over a 3-month period. During the study, participants provide urine samples to measure biomarker levels at 1 and 3 months of supplementation. Quality of life related to pain is assessed at 1 month, 3 months, and again 3 months after supplementation ends. Researchers monitor changes in urinary biomarkers and quality-of-life measures to evaluate the impact of the biomarker-guided supplementation on chronic pain symptoms and overall well-being.
