This observational study covers surgeries from 2015 through 2045, focusing on breast cancer patients who underwent these procedures. The goal is to better understand long-term surgical results and patient experiences. The study tracks patients who had oncoplastic breast surgery, which combines partial mastectomy with techniques to repair the breast and achieve symmetry, sometimes including reconstruction. Data collection includes chart reviews and validated patient satisfaction surveys over many years. The research spans from initial surgery up to 20 years post-operation to capture long-term outcomes. Participants involvement involves reviewing their medical records and collecting survey responses about satisfaction with their surgery. Researchers measure cancer stage at enrollment and up to one month after surgery, patient satisfaction up to one year after surgery, and cancer recurrence for up to 20 years. Secondary measures include rates of positive surgical margins within one year and surgical complications up to five years. The study is observational and does not involve active treatment assignments.
