Researchers are evaluating the safety and effectiveness of various Comfilcon A contact lenses, including Sphere, Toric, Multifocal, Toric Multifocal, and Energys lenses, when worn by a general population. The study focuses on visual performance and any contact lens-related adverse events after 2 hours of wear. The trial is conducted by CooperVision International Limited (CVIL) and includes participants aged 8 to 75 years who have experience wearing these lenses. Participants are habitual wearers of Comfilcon A lenses, divided into groups based on the specific lens type they use: Sphere, Toric, Multifocal, Multifocal Toric, and Energys. Each participant will wear their respective lens type for 2 hours during the study. The study observes lens performance and safety during this wear time. During the study, participants will have their visual acuity assessed after 2 hours of lens wear. Researchers will monitor any adverse events related to the contact lenses during this period. The total participation duration is centered around this 2-hour wear and evaluation period, focusing on collecting data about lens safety and visual performance in real-world use.
